Courtney Goetsch graduated from Norfolk
Senior High School. She attended undergraduate school at
Northeast Community College pursuing a degree in Criminal
Psychology. She changed her major or Pre-Optometry and
attended Wayne State College receiving a B.S. in Life Sciences and
Biology. She attended Pacific University College of
Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. As a student, she had the
honor of representing the students of Pacific University College
of Optometry as the American Optometric Student Association's
(AOSA) Trustee. She later served as the secretary for the
executive council of the National AOSA board of trustees and as
the National Liasion for the Infants and Children's Vision
Coalition. At Pacific, she also served as the student
representative for Pacific's Academic and Professional Standards
Committee, and as the local liasion for both the National Board of
Examiners in Optometry and for the Association of Schools and
Colleges of Optometry. She was a student memeber of the
College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the American
Optometric Association Political Action Committee, Amigos, and
Beta Sigma Kappa. While attending Pacific University, she
received the AcuVue Eye Health Advisor Student Citizenship
Scholarship, the Heart of America Contact Lens Society's Student
Scholarship, Howard Freedman Scholarship for excellence in the
fields of strabismus and binocular vision, and the Pacific
University College of Optometry President's Award.
Courtney Goetsch, O.D., is currently a member of
the Nebraska Optometric Association, Norfolk Kiwanis, and the
Norfolk Area Recruiters. She enjoys spending time with her
friends and family, hiking, and running. |
